How To Reassign Purchase Requisitions to a New User
Learn how to reassign Purchase Requisition to a new User in Oracle Fusion Applications
Let’s say a Purchase Requisition has been created by a user and you need to make some modifications to this Purchase Requisition. You will not be able to do any changes to this Purchase Requisition as you are not the creator/owner.
The question is: How to reassign this Purchase Requisition to your username?
Below example is a Purchase Requisition created by User A. Access the requisition from <Manage Requisitions> page:
As you see from below screen, if you click on <Actions> you will not be able to see Edit button as this Requisition has been created by another User. You need to click on the <Reassign> button to assign the document privilege to your name.
In the Reassign Requisition dialog box, specify the new owner. Select Send notification to this person to send a notification to the new owner about the reassignment.
The assignee becomes the Entered By person and can view and modify the requisitions as though they were the original preparer. You can reassign requisitions in any status (Canceled, Incomplete, In process, Approved, Rejected, and Returned).
Now you can see that Entered by Person has been changed to a new user and he is able to Edit Purchase requisition:
