The Supplier Registration to Supplier Performance life cycle refers to the process of finding prospective suppliers who can meet the organization’s procurement needs and allowing those suppliers to self-register via a secure URL using structured data collection and questionnaires.

Procurement Managers will monitor the supplier inputs for accuracy and choose viable suppliers automatically through the appropriate approval channels based on business rules. Once approved, Procurement personnel will delegate the appropriate account permissions to suppliers and allow them access to a secure online portal where they can begin to collaborate and communicate with the Procurement team as well as participate in sourcing events.

The next stage is managing supplier qualifications in which suppliers are sent qualification questionnaires to capture qualification information, which is then automatically stored in the supplier profile and used for reference.

Optimize Supplier Portfolio

The final stage is optimizing the supplier portfolio, which uses machine learning to assess supplier risk, validate business data, and utilize automatically captured supplier performance data to distribute spending.
